Mashups

The term mashup used to refer solely to the musical form of combining two or more tracks. But more recently the term mashups has been 'adopted' by the software community to refer to the blending of different software programs.

But whatever is being referenced there is some disagreement about what term should be used.
Some people hyphenate the word as Mash-up, others say Hashups, Cutups, Blends and (for Musical mashups) Bootlegs.
